2024 has been a busy and exciting year for Carocell Bio

While continually driving for further investment to develop our lead compound (JEL0305), we have demonstrated that it works in human inflamed tissue biopsies;

Professor Yvonne Perrie at Strathclyde University has worked with us on the formulation of our peptide portfolio.

Working with collaborators such as Professor Anne Dickinson at Alcyomics Limited, we have shown that our compound works in human dermatitis tissue.

Working with Dr Cathy Tournier at Manchester University we have shown excellent results in cells from lung cancer (adenocarcinoma) patients using one of our other portfolio peptides (JEL3108).  We are now in grant writing mode, working with GrantUp, and hope to get more support to develop our exciting cancer project.

The Team has continued to grow, with Professor Ashley George joining as NED and interim CFO.  With our growing portfolio of exciting peptides, we have decided to split it into three groups.  Two peptides for human dermatitis (lead and backup); 2 for cosmetic indications (delay aging of the skin) and one for animal dermatitis.

Carocell Bio have had two articles published – Venture Capital Post & GRIT DAILY – and are hoping for more throughout 2025, as well as further expanding the patent portfolio, working with Simon Bradbury at Withers & Rogers.

2025 is sure to be exciting with the focus now on investment and collaboration to drive the lead compounds forward.
